DR CHAN SUMMARY
Dr Norman Chan studied medicine at the University of NSW and graduated in 1987.
Dr Chan was a family GP before he entered training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 1992 and was trained at St George Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, The Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong and London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. He received his specialist degree in 1999 and commenced his specialist practice in Miranda in the same year. He was the chairman of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at The Sutherland Hospital. He is also an examiner, an assessor for overseas trained specialists and training supervisor for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
Dr Chan is also a Medico Legal Specialist and provides services to women in need of independent medical opinions in his specialty. This also includes SIRA, Motor Vehicle Accident, CTP and Workers Compensation. Dr Chan is also a Medical Assessor for the NSW Personal Injury Commission and the Queensland Medical Assessment Tribunal.
