DR TIM BERRY’S SUMMARY

Dr Tim Berry has worked in field of psychiatry for over 18 years. He completed his medical degree in the UK and worked there for a number of years, rotating through a series of different medical specialities.

He relocated to Sydney in 2007 and embarked on specialist psychiatric training. He trained at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Concord Centre for Mental Health. In 2013, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists having passed his written and clinical examinations at the first attempt.

Dr Berry works with adults between the ages of 18-65. He has experience in a variety of areas including rehabilitation, consultant liaison, forensic psychiatry and electroconvulsive therapy. His areas of interest include mood disorders (including major depressive episodes and bipolar affective disorder); anxiety disorders (including general anxiety, social anxiety and OCD); trauma and stress related disorders (including PTSD and adjustment disorders) and psychoses. He also diagnoses and treats adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

He now uses his time to focus on his private practice and medico-legal work.
