DR ASHWANI GARG’S SUMMARY
Dr Ashwani Garg is a Consultant Psychiatrist with more than 15 years of experience in working with clients with mental health issues.
He specialises in medicolegal assessments, psychotherapy, autism, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety and mood disorders and Advanced Nutritional Therapy. Having trained in both PIRS and AMA 6, Dr Garg has over 5 years’ experience in conducting independent medicolegal examinations and preparing medicolegal reports.
He is a Certified Independent Medical Board Examiner (CIME) of American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. Dr Garg is involved in research and professional education and has held positions as acting Clinical Director, Senior Lecturer at QUT and Griffith University and Consultant Psychiatrist at the Mood Academic Unit, Metro South Queensland Health.
He is also an Accredited Examiner of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Dr Garg is fluent in both Hindi and English.
