DR DEBORAH ARGUEDAS SUMMARY
We’re pleased to introduce Dr Deborah Arguedas, a Clinical Neuropsychologist with Clinical Doctorate level training, bringing extensive experience across both the public health system and private practice.
She conducts neuropsychological assessments for clinical and medicolegal purposes, with consulting rooms in Penrith (NSW), Hobart (TAS), and Launceston (TAS) — and is also available to travel to other interstate locations by request.
Dr Arguedas holds dual regulatory accreditations, making her a versatile referral option across multiple jurisdictions:
SIRA approved (NSW) – covering Workers Compensation, iCare, and the Lifetime Care & Support Scheme, with specialist training in the Assessment of Permanent Impairment for CNS and mental/behavioural disorders (CTP–AMA4)
MAIB approved (Tasmania) – providing neuropsychological assessments for motor vehicle accident claimants
Her assessment services span a broad range of clinical and medicolegal needs, including acquired brain injury, Income Protection and TPD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (adults, adolescents and children aged 10+), Australian Defence Force assessments, and capacity assessments for guardianship and financial management.
