DR BATCHELOR SUMMARY
Dr Patricia (Trish) Batchelor has over 30 years of medical experience with specific expertise in occupational medicine, tropical medicine and primary care. She has been the Chief Medical Officer of two Federal government organisations, the Australian Federal Police and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She has recent clinical experience within the ADF.
Her expertise includes fitness for work assessments, including for those in safety-critical roles, risk management (particularly in the overseas environment), environmental health assessments and tropical diseases.
Dr Batchelor has been granted her Fellowship in Occupational and Environmental Medicine and was awarded the 2017 Dean Southgate award for achieving the highest marks in that year’s Fellowship exams. Dr Batchelor has trained in the AMA 5 Impairment Guides and is accredited to perform aviation medicals.
