Dr Bernard Chivaurah is a specialist psychiatrist with experience across several inpatient and outpatient settings, both within Australia and overseas. He has an interest in general adult mental health disorders and the treatment of alcohol and other addiction disorders.
Dr Chivaurah currently consults both in the private and public sectors. Dr Chivaurah is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, holds a Masters degree of Medicine from the University of Sydney, and was awarded the Beit Trust Scholarship.
He has also obtained his RANZCP Certificate in Addiction Psychiatry and his qualifications in England and Zimbabwe. Dr Chivaurah has published in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry.
