Dr Abayomi Adeniyi is an experienced Specialist Psychiatrist and a Certified Independent Medicolegal Expert with more than two decades of medical practice experience.

He has extensive clinical experience in psychiatry with sound clinical knowledge, and competent skills in general adult psychiatric. He has worked extensively in Australia and overseas within both public and private mental health services in various settings (Emergency, Inpatient Units, & Outpatient Clinics). He currently works as Consultant Psychiatrist both in private practice, and publicly with the WA Health, Western Australia.

Dr Adeniyi is an Accredited Training Supervisor for the fellowship program of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and actively involved in the clinical teaching of medical students and trainee psychiatrists. He has passion for academic teaching and clinical supervision, and a member of various reputable professional committees within the Government Health Sector, RANZCP and ACLM.

Dr Adeniyi provides quality independent medical evaluations, expert opinions, and expert reports relating to the Workers’ Compensation claims, total permanent disability, medical negligence and malpractice claims, professional misconduct matters, health regulatory authority cases, medical indemnity issues, Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), motor vehicle accident (MVA) claims, and other personal injury claims, and. His assessment sub-specialties include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and stressors-related disorders and psychotic disorders. He has strong consulting ethics and excellent professional relationships with colleagues and patients.
