Throughout his career, Dr Flynn has been at the forefront of assisted reproductive technology. In 1998 he was a founding partner of Fertility Gold Coast, which is now part of Queensland Fertility Group. In his practice, Michael has helped thousands of patients achieve healthy pregnancies with a consistently high clinical pregnancy success rate – even among the most challenging of cases.

A Brief History:

Having grown up in Queensland, Dr Flynn commenced his Internship at Gold Coast Hospital and progressed to Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Brisbane. In this setting he gained extensive experience in high risk pregnancy management.

Michael continued his career as Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Royal Bournemouth Hospital, United Kingdom before returning to Australia and commencing private practice on the Gold Coast in 1998.

Since 1998 together with Dr Judith Goh, Michael has written and updated “Examination Obstetrics and Gynaecology” used by most medical school campuses in Australia.

Dr Flynn also has a special interest in endometriosis, PCOS and menopause.

Dr Flynn specialises in laparoscopic surgery. He regards this technique as having transformed the management of women’s health. Dr Flynn offers laparoscopic surgery for infertility, endometriosis, fibroids and chronic pelvic pain. In addition, he offers advanced laparoscopic techniques for prolapse, incontinence and hysterectomies.
