PROFESSOR EDWARD (TED) MAH SUMMARY
Professor Mah, a former President of the APOA, represents 24 member countries and 65,000 surgeons in the Asia Pacific region. He serves on several boards and provides Hand, Elbow, Shoulder, and Microsurgery services in Adelaide.
Professor Mah trained in Emergency Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery in SA and earned a research MD, advocating for cell salvage and autologous blood in hip and knee surgeries. He is involved in research, education, and administration, sits on six editorial boards, and is the Deputy Editor for JOS. He has also contributed to orthopaedic training across the Asia Pacific, including developing hand surgery courses in India.
